Mia Hoffmann, a senior at Bemidji High in Minnesota, won the girls 5-kilometer maroon race in 19:21.6 at the 37th Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn. Hoffmann helped Bemidji place 20th as a team with 511 points. Hoffmann improved from 14th place in the maroon race last season in 20:18.6.
